The naturally beautiful Juurikkasaari is a versatile and a year-round event venue. We organize all our events with joy and heart, serving with almost 20 years of experience. We take pride in our diverse and tasty food and individual service respecting the needs of the customer.
Juhlatalo’s lunch buffet is available all year round on weekdays from 11am to 2pm. Our sauna is on and open to all every Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm for 10€/adult and 5€/child. In addition to private events, we also organize themed dinner events and others during all seasons of the year. (upcoming events can be checked on the event calendar). During the winter, it’s also possible to enjoy refreshing ice swimming.
In the summer, Juurikkasaari’s beach terrace (Rantabaari) and Grill serve tasty barbecue dishes, refreshments, and café delicacies.
Juurikkasaari can accommodate 380 people to dine, during summer up to 1,500 people.
Our transformable spaces enable weddings, concerts, corporate events, and all kinds of celebrations, large or small.
Juurikkasaari is located in Säynätsalo, Jyväskylä. From the centre of Jyväskylä, the drive by car takes about 20 minutes. 3 Bus routes pass right by us (16,16M & 21). It’s also possible to come by boat. Our new guest boat dock completed building in May of 2021.
We prepare and serve tasty meals exclusively for Aalto Sali, located in the centre of Jyväskylä.
