Welcome to Juurikkasaari also by water – Our guest boat dock accepts visitor arriving from all over Päijänne! 

In May of 2021, a new and wonderful guest boat dock was completed in the north end of Juurikkasaari, to serve the boaters of Päijänne. 

– the boat trip from the Jyväskylä centre takes only about an hour. In the summer of 2021, we opened a beach bar called Rantabaari right next to the boat dock, and for the summer of 2022, we opened a long-awaited beach grill. The beach has a beautiful view of Päijänne that can take your breath away (especially during the sunset). 

Several artists perform on the beach terrace during the summer season. 

NOTE! Visitors arriving by boat, always use a stern buoy (no side anchors) so that as many boaters as possible can fit on the dock. Thank you very much!
